We recognize how frightening any pet emergency can be and that extra time will give us the knowledge we need to be ready for you and your pet's arrival.

Signs of An Emergency

It can often be challenging to know what does and does not count as a pet emergency. If your pet is displaying any of these signs, please contact us right away and seek emergency veterinary care:

  • Difficulty breathing
  • Choking
  • Blunt-force trauma
  • Vehicle hit or crash
  • Ingested a foreign object
  • Eaten something poisonous
  • Prolonged labor / difficult delivery
  • Uncontrolled bleeding
  • Refusal or inability to move or stand
  • Unusually body temperature
  • Seizures
  • Lost consciousness
  • Excessive vomiting
  • Severe diarrhea
  • Blood in stool
  • Unable to pass stool or urinate
